This scholarship was created in memory of Habersham County native, Kendrick Paul Simmons, Sr.  Kendrick passed away on February 26, 2019, and made a huge impact on those who knew him.  He helped whomever he could, wherever he could and offered words of wisdom so those around him might make better life choices.
